Frequently asked questions

What DPI should I use?

Use 150 DPI for screen viewing and web use. Use 300 DPI for printing. Higher DPI means larger file sizes.

Can I convert only specific pages?

Currently all pages are converted. To convert specific pages, extract them first with the Extract Pages tool, then convert the result.

Are the JPGs compressed?

Yes. JPG uses lossy compression. At 300 DPI the quality is excellent and suitable for printing. For lossless output, use the Image Converter tool to convert the JPGs to PNG.
